Community Bank of the Chesapeake Announces Plans For Greater Annapolis Lending Center; Welcomes New Lender

WALDORF, Md., July 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake announced today that it will open a lending center in the Greater Annapolis service area later this year. Donald Parsons, Senior Vice President, Senior Lender for Community Bank will lead the development efforts in the new market.

Mr. Parsons has over 18 years of lending and leadership experience and has been with Community Bank since 2011. As Senior Vice President, Senior Lender for Calvert County, he played an instrumental role in developing the market and establishing new relationships with lending customers. Mr. Parsons is a graduate of Shepherd University and received his Masters of Business Administration from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola College. 

Along with plans for its expansion, the Bank also announced that Stephen Shade has joined Community Bank of the Chesapeake as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Mr. Shade will join Mr. Parsons in Anne Arundel County.

"Stephen is a top performing commercial lender with a proven track record of success in the area," Mr. Cockerham said. "His extensive knowledge of this market will be a valuable asset to the Bank as we begin to grow our lending base in the Greater Annapolis area."

Mr. Shade has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Community Bank, he served as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager for First Citizens Bank in Annapolis, Maryland where he was recognized as a top loan producer in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Mr. Shade previously studied Finance at Loyola College of Maryland and is currently finishing his degree through the University of Maryland.
