WALDORF, Md., July 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake is proud to announce its support of the Southern Maryland Mission of Mercy. Through its sponsorship, the Bank will help to provide funding for the two-day dental clinic planned for July.

The Southern Maryland Mission of Mercy is part of a national initiative to improve the dental health of those without insurance by holding free two-day dental clinics. The clinics provide services ranging from preventative dentistry and cleanings to restorative fillings and extractions. This year's clinic is scheduled for July 18 and 19 and will be held at North Point High School in Charles County. The donation made by Community Bank will allow Mission of Mercy to provide $41,000 worth of dental work to patients in need.
