WALDORF, Md., Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake will host its fourth annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive November 12 through December 12, 2014. Non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any of the Community Bank branch locations.

Especially during the holiday season, we are reminded of those in the community who need our support most," said Diane Hicks, Assistant Vice President, Marketing Manager of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. "We are proud to be part of such a giving community and support the many organizations and their efforts to bring joy to families this time of year."
The Food and Toy Drive will benefit several nonprofit organizations throughout the Bank's service area. Food collected in Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's counties will be donated to the Southern Maryland Food Bank. Food donated at the Bank's Virginia branches will support the King George Food Pantry and the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank. All toys collected will benefit the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots programs in Southern Maryland, King George and Fredericksburg. Anyone wishing to help make a difference in the life of a child or family in our community this holiday season by making a donation is invited to stop by any Community Bank of the Chesapeake branch.
